Getting Professional Floor Care in Cincinnati
Cincinnati, Ohio, was once described by Charles Dickens in American Notes. He described it as follows, “I have not often seen a place that commends itself so favorably and pleasantly to a stranger at first glance as this does; with its clean houses of red and white, its well-paved roads, and footways of bright life. Nor does it become less processing on a closer acquaintance.”
The Queen of the West has since only gained in prestige being unique among midwestern towns with its historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, its upscale Hyde Park Square, and its multicultural Clifton neighborhood. Entertainment venues, hotels, and restaurants abound at the Riverfront, also referred to as the Banks. The Riverfront, of course, refers to the banks of the Ohio River. Northside, Mount Washington, and Oakley are just a few of The Queen City’s communities which house many retail establishments and shopping areas.

Wood floor care, cleaning and maintenance
Floors made of hardwoods make a home look beautiful. They add a hard layer that is warm and insulating. Hardwood floors are expensive to install and add value to a home. They also require expert upkeep, cleaning, and maintenance. Commercial Janitorial has trained and experienced cleaners who will clean the accumulated oil, which has accumulated from years of using chemical cleaners.
Experienced cleaning services may use low moisture deep cleaning methods such as the Chem-Dry wood cleaning process by which floors are cleaned, sanitized, and polished. Professional floor care experts may apply a solid layer of waterborne polyurethane layer to seal the floors against moisture. The solid layer also acts to prevent scratches, stains, and other damage to the recently polished hardwood floors. While oil-based polyurethane layers last longer and provide a glossier finish, they are more inflammable and emit toxic fumes during application.
Wood floors, such as the grass-based bamboo floors, need to be saved from moisture at all cost since moisture leaves wood-based floors open to extensive damage. That is why microfiber cleaning materials and low moisture cleaning methods are used to clean bamboo and other wood-based floors. After floors have been swept, scrubbed, dry and wet mopped and deep cleaned by advanced cleaning methods, they are then polished, stained, and sealed with a solid layer to protect the polish and stain for a longer time. The sealing layer will also protect against water stains and moisture damage due to excessive humidity.
High-pressure Power washing, dry-ice blasting, soda blasting and sand blasting
High-pressure power washing may be suitable for some hard stone or concrete flooring options. By this method, floors are washed with high-pressure power washers. The high pressure which is exerted will loosen any grime, ingrained particles, or embedded dirt. Some cleaning solution is used to further help the cleaning process.
Concrete floors in industrial areas, basements, or warehousing or retail establishments may also be cleaned with technologically advance cleaning processes such as the dry-ice blasting method and the soda-blasting method. These processes use abrasive streams of organic materials and spray them at high pressure on to the surface to smoothen out and strip off the outer layers of grime, dirt, and stains. A higher impact method, such as the sandblasting process, is used for more abrasive cleaning. Sandblasting may be used to strip varnish and paint or adjusted for a milder deep cleaning.
Deep cleaning stone floors, tiles and grout cleaning
Stone floors such as marble will require honing, buffing, polishing, and sealing on an occasional basis to help them retain their original shine. Granite and other stone floors may also need to be scrubbed clean with special cleaners calibrated for stone floors. Grout between tiles is cleaned with special tools and cleaning solutions.
